4. Drink in moderation.

At a lot of weddings, there are always guests who overdo it on the drinks. Like, seventeen sheets to the wind. Now, I’m not saying that you need to be Sober Sally. But it’s just not classy to be that bridesmaid or groomsman who is SLOPPY by five p.m.

At Rachel’s wedding, we had a bottle of wine in the bridal suite; everyone sipped wine casually throughout the day and it was fine, because that is moderation.

If you consume alcohol (and you don’t have to!), then drink safely, and for funsies! Pace yourself, plan to not have to drive home, and drink lots of water.

Because, friends, it’s a good rule of thumb in life that you SHOULD ALWAYS STRIVE TO NOT BE THAT GUY.
